Willard has officially moved back to its home at the end of the sorority quad, now featuring multi-purpose common spaces and an improved location for Fran’s Cafe. The residence boasts a gym, classrooms, a large fireplace lounge and a functioning theater. Not to mention, its rooms are rumored to be some of the largest on campus. Named after Frances Willard, the university’s first dean of women, Willard is the largest and one of the oldest residential colleges on campus. Famous alumni including Stephen Colbert and Julia Louis-Dreyfus have lived in the residential college, and its current faculty chair, Gary Saul Morson, teaches the perennially popular course “Introduction to Russian Literature.”
