560 Lincoln, located a little north of Kemper Hall in the upper tip of North Campus, is the newest residence hall on campus. It’s four stories in some parts and goes up to seven in others, with some two-story lounges, and houses over 400 students. The rooms are four-person “suite style,” with two two-person rooms joined by shared bathroom. (Word of warning: residents must clean their own bathrooms!) In addition to being a residential building, 560 Lincoln also holds classes, meetings and other non-residential events. It’s an in-demand residence for freshman, but also appeals to sophomores staying on for the two-year-on-campus requirement. The building suits the need of students with Tech-heavy class schedules are interested in joining fraternities, or simply students who would like to have the newest facilities on campus.
