Hobart House, also known as Women’s Residential College, is the only all-female dorm at Northwestern. Located at the center of the sorority quad on South Campus, Hobart has the best location to get access to downtown Evanston, University Library and three dining halls (Plex, Allison and Hinman). Hobart houses 50 undergraduate women of various majors and backgrounds, making it a close and inclusive community.
“It’s one of the hidden gems on campus. It’s really clean...we have some of the best facilities of any dorm on campus. We have a gym, a computer lounge, two TV lounges...Anytime anyone walks in here that’s never been here will be like ‘wow, this is the most beautiful place on campus’.”
