The Residential College of Cultural and Community Studies, or CCS, houses a group of students proud of their home. Culture and philanthropy-themed bonding events foster a small, tight-knit community located on North Campus. CCS shares a building with GREEN House.
“Because we’re so close to Tech, typically there are a lot of science majors. I think when I first moved here last year it was kind of a culture shock, but after a while it got to be kind of nice to have the north and south campus experience.”
Olivia Peace, Communication sophomore
“CCS got renovated just two years ago, so everything’s still new. Compared to the other dorms, our bathrooms seem nicer”
Cynthia Chen, Communication sophomore
“It’s a really small community, only about 40 people each year, about half freshman, usually. Those freshmen usually bond pretty quickly in the first couple weeks. It’s not like one of the bigger dorms where you don’t know anyone on other floor. Here, everyone knows everyone.”
Tyler Rehak, Weinberg senior
