What residents say

“I like Sunday munchies because it’s fun to come down and hang out with my friends from other floors. We can all watch sports on the big lounge TV and get good food.”

Michael Stern, Medill freshman

“I like how nice it is, the community, all your appliances, the lounge, and I love the location as in proximity to town and a large part of campus and the sorority quads. I dislike how strict the CAs are and the administration that lives here is, and I think the dining hall is sub-par. But I like Renee, our faculty adviser; she’s a wonderful person. It could be more diverse in terms of majors and stuff.”

Jessica Schapiro, Weinberg sophomore

“People will walk into your room and look at you in despair because their rooms in Elder or Bobb are crap. And they come in and they say, "You live in a palace!" And you smile and you just say, "Yes. Yes I do."”

Hanna Bolanos, Medill freshman

“I don’t like how heavy the doors are. They are so heavy and you can’t prop your door open because there are no doorstops.”

Sean Magner, communication sophomore

“I don’t know the people who live next to me, or the people down the hallway, or really anywhere. The people are just antisocial. You meet new people every other day though, so that’s nice.”

Jackson Middleton, Weinberg freshman
