GREEN House is a small special interest residence located in the frat quad on North Campus. GREEN House, which stands for Group Residence for Environmental Engagement at Northwestern, has sustainability-themed programming and environmental volunteer opportunities (and they also kick butt at Green Cup, Northwestern’s annual environmentally sustainable living contest). The building was remodeled just a few years ago, and it has some of the most modern living spaces on campus. It’s open to students of any majors, but its prime North Campus location attracts many STEM students. They’re housed in the same building as CCS (College of Cultural Studies) and share some facilities with them like lounges and laundry.
