What residents say

“It’s one of the hidden gems on campus. It’s really clean...we have some of the best facilities of any dorm on campus. We have a gym, a computer lounge, two TV lounges...Anytime anyone walks in here that’s never been here will be like ‘wow, this is the most beautiful place on campus’.”

Allyna Mota Melville, Medill freshman

“The reason why I chose to live here and really love it is the community. Because we are a residential college, we focus a lot on actually getting to know the people living in Hobart and doing events with them.”

Michelle Zhang, SESP freshman

“We have a lot of movie nights, and we also do games...we often have nights when everyone’s just hanging around and play games.”

Angela Cureton, Weinberg sophomore

“Hobart House is very clean and organized. All the facilities are in great conditions because they are relatively new. Though I enjoy being here not just because of the environment, but for the people as well. Everyone here is like family to me even though we are from very different places.”

Roxanne Zong, Weinberg freshman
